Di Gammage

Dramatherapist, Play Therapist, Buddhist Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Trainer and Author

It is said that play is a child’s only defence against the world yet it is not only a child who needs this protection.  Di will be exploring the role of play in the therapeutic relationship and sharing how those same playful qualities can become a powerful resource when surviving a situation that could render the individual traumatised.

Di Gammage is a play therapist, dramatherapist and Buddhist Psychotherapist in private practice in Devon working with looked-after children and adults.  She is author of the book, ‘Playful Awakening – Releasing the Gift of Play in Your Life’ (2017, Jessica Kingsley).  She is an actor with Potential Space Theatre Company.
